AZ Winter Wonderland

Yesterday late afternoon we experienced our once a year snow storm.
It started out light snowflakes then built up to large snowflakes that stuck.
No, we didn't go out and build a snowman or throw snowballs - looking through the window in a warm house is much more comfortable.
Maybe because we so rarely see snow that I think it is just beautiful to look at and brings about a sense of peace.
A new dawn, the storm blown over and the snow began to melt.
Even though I think it is so pretty, I'll wait another year before wanting another cold snow storm.

Shortened Golf Round

No Jim, you are suppose to ride in the cart - not push it!

Yesterday was Jim's birthday and what does he have to do - but push the golf cart the rest of the way home. A problem with the batteries caused the cart to loose power on the 16th hole. We limped almost all the way home, but the last hill was just a little too much, so had to push the rest of the way home. (After I took the picture, I pitched in pushing, so wasn't too hard, but it was a good workout).

But all in all, Jim's birthday turned out to be a nice day even though he only got 16 holes of golf in. Better luck today (we might need to use one of the golf course carts instead of ours).
